I am sure most of us agree the latest patch (0.96?) is fantastic, so much so I came back to the game after months of absence. Here is my feedback:
MENUS
of the three left icons (collection, chests, store) it seems odd that the Store icon has the word “Store” displayed beneath it.
After purchasing a Chest in the shop, I would like to be giving the option to immediately open it, rather than having to go to a different menu. Just having to click the “Continue” button after the purchase is annoying. Maybe “Continue” and an “Open Now” option.
It is very inconvenient that the padlock icon sits over the card count in your Collection. Sometimes, I want to see how many of each card I have, whether or not I can add it to my deck in that moment. Frankly I do not see a reason to indicate that you are unable to add a card, when a notification could simply appear if you try to.
Because the Crafting menu shows all of the cards that exist, it is difficult to know which cards you have that can be Disenchanted (term?). I wanted to Disenchant a Mythic card I had, but when I opened the Crafting menu it got lost in the sea of all existing cards. Maybe a way to toggle your Collection between an “Owned” and “All Cards” view would help.
As a follow up to #4, I would like to see more functionality when right-clicking a card. Currently it just gives you additional information / details about the card. It would be convenient if in this same view, you could Craft or Disenchant the same card.
The search function is better, but hidden in a sub-menu. The search box should be in the Collection menu at all times, as it is one of the most important tools.
In addition to searching by Faeria cost, it would be nice to search by card type (Creature or Event) and Land threshold.
It would be convenient to see some information about the deck you are creating, in addition to the average Faeria cost. Land average, Creature to Event distribution, and even Faeria curve may also be nice.
I would like to be free to do more while waiting for a match. Currently I am unable to look at my decks, remove decks, or build decks while I am waiting for a match.
I cannot tell you how many times I have clicked Play, then Battle, selected a deck, only to click on Play again at the top of the screen. This is a minor annoyance, but it is also a bit contradictory.
BATTLE
Even if it were something I needed to toggle on. I would like to see my opponent’s hand and deck count more easily that having to hover over a small area of the screen.
The effect of the number flipping and skewing when you rank up/down is really amateurish. It is an eyesore every time I see it, and a bit unnecessary considering all of the amazing art your company has at their disposal.
It does not feel intuitive to have to right-click on your Bubble to open the emote menu, when simply left-clicking would suffice. It would feel more natural to just left-click twice.
MISC
I find the Mythic borders gaudy, and overly distracting to the eye. I pretty much Disenchant them the moment I get them.
Concerning emotes, I’m not sure a double left-click would be more intuitive than a single right one. And anyway, we used to left-click (single) to open the emotes options but it caused some problems when we unvoluntarily activated it at the same time we were choosing the place where the effect of some event cards should be trigered on the board. That is why emotes activation was changed to right-click.
Just a question about the 8th item : “land average” ? How would you display this particular information and how would you make it relevant (as it is not only a number, but 4 different ones, that cannot be summurized by an arithmetic mean) ?
I agree with 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 10th items (5th and 10th ones on the substance more than on the form, see above or explanations ^^).
Especially, I think it would be very convenient if Deck building, Crafting, and Battle mode were accessible on a single page. I see no reason why we couldn’t access deck building and crafting mode on the battle page for exemple (but do tell me if I’m wrong please ^^).
We could click on a deck, then either choose “battle” or “edit”. We could have some “crafting” button and “new deck” option on the same page.
And we could have some crafting button when we are “in” a deck too. So many times when I am building a deck and realizing I need to craft some missing cards, I would be happy to have the opportunity to go directly into the crafting menu.
But truly, Faeria’s team has made our favourite game very beautiful for patch 0.96. Thank you for your great work ! Long life to Faeria !

My intention was not to suggest a double-click, rather not having to right then left-click. But you make a good point about the possible issue with a left-click emote menu popping up when you click on your bubble for a dozen other reasons.

I would display it the same way they display the Faeria average. I imagine it lined up horizontally along the top of the deck list; Faeria, Desert, Forest, Mountain, Pond. Each section would display the average amount of each Land the cards in your deck require. If you have an all ready deck that has card that require everything from 1 to 3 Mountains, the icon would display a 2 or 2.5 respectfully. Again, the same way the Faeria average is calculated. Now, would this be as valuable? I am not 100% sure, but it sounds convenient.

Having some informations about lands do seems to be very valuable indeed
But some types of decks make me to wonder to what extent the average would be useful. Perhaps maximum number of lands of each type would be more efficient ? Or average/maximum number ? There is still some cases where these numbers won’t help much (that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be helpful for most of the cases though ^^).
Let’s imagine a (very bad ! ^^) deck with 6 cards costing 5 deserts (for exemple 3 “Desert Twisting” and 3 “Windborn Champions”), 3 cards costing 2 deserts (“Windstorm Archers”) and 21 neutral cards (mostly events, with perhaps including 3 “Outland Rangers” and 3 “Hold The Line !”). Average deserts cost = 4 (considering only yellow cards). Max deserts cost =5.
If you take this deck to battle without remembering which cards you put in it, just reading the average/max cost, you may think it would be a great idea to build a lot of desert, when most of your cards require actually none, or just 2 for the 3 “Windstorm Archers”.
Or perhaps we should consider all the cards and not only the yellow ones ? That would make an average number of 1.2 deserts (which is not really more significant number than the previous one…). That said, there is’nt probably any good solution for such extreme cases…
I would be more useful, in my opinion, to display the median (the number that has an equal number of terms smaller and bigger, for those who forgot their math lessons) of each land type (among the cards of that land type), next to their proportion if it is a multi-colour deck. It would allow you to easily know how many lands do you need to play at least half of that faction’s card, which is much more practical.
The more I think about it, the more I agree with you and other folks. In fact, I just saw the deck building tool in The HUB, and it has a nice way of displaying the number of each card by Land types.
I think maybe, if the deck builder in game worked a little more like that, it would could be helpful. But of all the feedback I have provided, this is actually quite minor.
For land average they would simply have to incorporate the four bars for each land located in the pandora screen when creating a deck. Not an average, but shows the percentage of each land type in the deck.
