Spice provides outs to anything you think you might be weak to. Illusionist, cannoneer, shieldmates, and recruiter let you control the board early for cheap against anything that wants to hit you in the face to kill you. Once you secure collection at 2-3 wells, slowly beat down non-rakoan opponents with things you shouldn’t be able to afford.
If its a rakoan mirror, you try to line up the biggest value with reveler and maji/tethra, your aoe stuffs, and your payoff cards from decks you aren’t playing from spice.
The guidance is available mostly as a heal, but don’t be afraid to use it to clear and value trade if you’re not up against burn.
