It is a more defensive version of GYsac, than pre-balance patch when Salmons and Sky Yaks were core cards of GYsac. But with the patch and Salmon not being a sac target anymore and Sky Yaks on 4Faeria i dont think they just decrease consistency in GYsac and can make your draws really awkward (but maybe they still are good enough- i just felt like trying something different).
I always try to get to both wells asap, try to confront my opponent on the side he chooses to advance towards me and ideally have a Spirit of Rebirth collecting on the other side. Which land you start off with depends on your draws, ideally you want to sac something t3 if possible and deserts next to wells for Wind Soldier lines.
For my starting hand i search for one sac target (Village Elder or Bloomsprite) a t1 creature like Bone Collector and a creature that sacs your stuff (Assassin, Demon Wrangler), but depending on your match up sometimes it is good to keep the Last Nightmare, or mulligan hard for Eredon or Stalkers. You never keep Soul Eaters
Overall it feels like a very consistent updated version of Maihems & Kahilians GYsac from MC XI.
Land type(s): Neutral, Forest, Desert
Faeria cost: 3
Difficulty: Advanced
3x VILLAGE ELDER (2f)
3x BONE COLLECTOR (2f 1F)
3x BLOOMSPRITE (2f 2F)
2x SPIRIT OF REBIRTH (3f 2F)
1x EREDON, VOICE OF ALL (5f 2F)
2x ORADRIM FANATIC (3f 2D)
1x LAST NIGHTMARE (6f 3D)
3x WIND SOLDIER (3f 2D)
3x SHAYTAN ASSASSIN (3f 2D)
3x DEMON WRANGLER (2f 1D)
3x SOUL EATER (5f 3D 3F)
3x DEEPWOOD STALKER (3f 2F)
This is like the pre-oversky sac list. I prefer flash wind instead of fanatic because handbuff can be wasted on fanatic, need to catch up on vod to see how it played out in your games though.
handbuff is never wasted
i get your point, i agree handbuff with salmon seems good (and i didnt test it yet) but i think it can make your hands really clunky sometimes with 9 reactive cards and since i can’t play salmon as a sac target it would make this deck more inconsistent than it has to be imo.
I haven’t tried the deck yet, but seems well made so +1 from me. But i’m curious: Why the demon wranglers? they have no synergi with the deck except for the early sac potential. Wouldn’t a deathwalker or maybe lord of wastes be better for the eredon and handbuff synergy? i imagine a 7/5 (or greater) is a lot harder to deal with, than a 2/1 and a 5/2. Also you have no movement tricks or flying units to get a good position for the 5/2’s - sorry for the long post

ah it got posted two times because it didn’t show. Sorry for the double post.
dont worry about it, i posted a comment once four times
demon wrangler is a key card in GYsac, it is amazing, you sac a creature of yours which helps buff Soul Eater, and draws you a card, or gives you a card with bloomsprite and the main point is you dont lose a creature on board.
you dont need big bodies in GYsac other than Soul eater, it is more important in GYsac to have a few small creatures on the board than one big one.
