What I like about this deck is that in spite of 60% of the cards being neutral, it can often outvalue heavy value decks, such as Beastmaster. (And because so much of the deck is neutral value-heavy decks tend to sit back and assume they can out-value it.) So far it’s 35-21 on ladder (a 63% winrate).
Aurora’s Creation is one of the most important cards in the deck. When you can, it’s best to save it for Mother of All Yaks because that’s a HUGE amount of value to get repeatedly for only 5 faeria. If you draw the Creation early, it can also work well with a Sapphire Yak to push for a quicker win, and in a pinch it works well with Mirror Phantasm too.
Mulligan for Roaming Yak, Long-Horned Yak, Prairie Yak, and Sapphire Yak. (Don’t keep more than one of the 3-cost ones.)
For land placement, start with a prairie in front of your orb, and build up between the wells on one side. In most cases, you’ll want to also build to the other side to set up quad-collection, although if you get an early Sapphire Yak, you can continue to push up one side for a quick victory. The deck’s fairly high-priced, so aim to double-collect by turn 3. With a Roaming Yak and Explore, you can be double-collecting on turn 2.
