After failing the puzzle and getting killed, the screen turns black as if reloading the scene but it just stays black. Only other UI elements visible are options button and friends list. Both of them don’t help and the only solution seems to be to quit the game. Reloading the puzzle via the in game “Redo” button works fine.
I faced the same problem (not sure if it was the same mission). Every time I restarted or failed, I should close the game. I suggest to find the puzzle’s solution on youtube and get rid of that
