Cards from the Oversky expansion are not yet craftable. Will they ever be, and if so, when?

There will never be the possibility to craft those cards, it’s one of the game’s way to get money and I think it’s pretty fair since you can easily buy the islands you want with free gold.
the oversky exp is really very cheap for what you get- a bunch of good (and some OP) cards and really fun single player/co-op content…just buy it
