@Sfasano, after running scripts that allowed me to use this deck, I found that this mulligan works best for a control style of play:
Always keep: farmboy
Utility: farmboy
Always throw away: farmboy

Make sure you sacrifice to RNGesus because for some reason, I keep top decking farmboys.
With this build, you want to rush and surround them with farm boys. Hopefully, there will be enough pitchforks to break the orb.
What special land should I start with? You seem to be leaving out an essential part of the decision making… Not impressed.

Nice concept, if i have just a suggestion, maybe just switch one card. Instead of Farmboy, play earthcraft, you need land speed and diversity to play your curve well. But its just and advice, your deck is strong without !
