The core of this deck:

  • Windstorm Charger
  • Windstorm Colossus
  • Ruunin’s Presence

I would also advise to keep Wild Avenger, because of his dash ability and his growing health playing against burn decks.

Ruunin’s Presence is (finally) viable in this deck because of the event synergy and it gives you two more big creatures besides the Windstorm Colossus with the hope that your opponent is out of hard removals at some point in the game.

Ideal land placement:

  • two green tiles in your first row (at your orb) to place taunt minions there
  • a yellow tile in the second row at one or both of your wells to place Khalim and/or Windstorm Charger there
  • a yellow tile near your opponent as a summoning spot for Windstorm Colossus
  • a green tile as near your opponents orb as possible as a summoning spot for any big green creature you might get out of Ruunin’s Presence.

Strategy:

Control the board with Khalim and Windstorm Chargers till you have good land tiles to play Windstorm Colossus or creatures from Ruunin’s Presence. Of course you can also use Khalim and the Windstorm Chargers to go face if suitable.
