Non-jump creatures that are next to two enemies with taunt can choose which enemy to attack.
Creatures with jump that are two spaces away from a enemy with taunt must attack that enemy
Creatures with jump that are one space away from one enemy with taunt and two spaces away from another enemy with taunt can only attack the nearer enemy. This seems inconsistent.
Taunt means - “opposing creatures adjacent to THIS can’t move or attack a non-taunt object” There is nothing inconsistent about it.
Creatures with jump that are two spaces away from a enemy with taunt must attack that enemy. That’s inconsistent with what you wrote.
No, that’s not Taunt’s behavior. Taunt only prevents adjacent creatures from moving or attacking something without Taunt. If your creature has Jump or Charge and isn’t adjacent to the Taunt, then it won’t be taunted and can act freely. If you move it next to taunt, it will be taunted. Plus, Taunt doesn’t force you to attack, it simply prevents you from doing something else.
