Potential Forum Bug?

Hello Dev Team!

Was looking through the posts, and I’m finding that when in a forum post/discussion that the navigation slider overlaps and supersedes the Search (Magnifying glass)/Navigation/User Icon while in Chrome and Firefox. I was unable to duplicate this in any other situation or in IE/Edge yet.

Problem is the slider takes up the entire midsection of the navigation, and simply insuring the navigation overlaps or takes a higher layer priority than the slider should fix this.

Cheers!

Edit: Now included with screencap:

Note how the scroll bar overlaps the menu? This was replicated when I went home as well on both Home PC/Laptop and between Firefox and Chrome on Windows 10.

Hmm, can you show a screenshot of this?

I’m not sure if this is a Discourse problem in general or something specific to our stylesheet.

Edited the primary post to reflect the new screen cap, let me know if you need anything else!

Ah I see what you mean. Had a look at the stylesheet, the z-indexing is set properly. That means this could be a little tricky to fix.

Thanks for the report.

Alright, I believe I’ve fixed it - which required fixing several other overlapping issues.

Let me know if any more crop up.
