Basically swarm the board with worthless creatures that suddenly get very powerful out of nowhere, either through Gift of the Rakoa or Emerald Salamander.
These creatures can be Sky Yaks or Yaks summoned by the Yakkapult, but Rakoan Reveller and Unlikely Hero also like the buffs for obvious reasons.
Grim Guards then provide Taunt as well as Combat, which are both useful utility since your opponent tends to die because of thousand paper cuts with this deck, unless you get a boosted Unlikely Hero in his face. Taunt needs no explanation.
Buffs and Combat also synergize quite well.
