Understanding "Failed Experiment"

I have looked at the card a few times, and am still unsure what application it has. Considering the creature dies instantly, rather than the end of the turn, you cannot do anything with it. You could benefit from a Last Words effect, like with Stormspawn, but I have not seen a much better use.

What interesting interactions have you come across?

It works with Gift effects too, such as Lore Thief for decks that want to cycle. Another interaction is with Oakling in decks like Toad OTK or SuperToad.

This plus Lore Thief (or occasionally Spring Mochi) is absolutely staple in Aurora’s Disciple decks.
