Blue Control

A deck I have been testing extensively on ladder. Core of the deck revolves around 4 major control cards (Frogify, Command, Trick, and Flower) which allow you flexibility when dealing with a range of archetypes and be free with your Frogifies to gain as much value as possible. Mulligan for Ele/Battle Toads. Start lake in front of Orb. Build away from enemies who have a creature you can target with Trick; otherwise build toward for Phantasm trades. Prioritize collecting and trades. Use Frogify/Flower aggressively to keep board clear of opponent’s creatures.

Land type(s): Neutral, Lake
Faeria cost: 3.7
Difficulty: Intermediate

3x LORE THIEF (3f 2L)
3x MIRROR PHANTASM (7f 2L)
3x FROGIFY (4f 3L)
3x SPELLWHIRL (2L)
1x BAERU, THE FIRST WAVE (8f 3L)
3x WATER ELEMENTAL (4f 1L)
1x AURORA, MYTH MAKER (4f 3L)
3x AURORA’S TRICK (4f 5L)
3x BATTLE TOADS (4f 2L)
3x THE EMPEROR’S COMMAND (2f)
3x CRYSTAL FLOWER (3f 4W)
1x FUGORO, MERCHANT OF WONDERS (5f 3L 3W)

Looks very interesting, always loved mono blue decks, but could you explain your reasoning behind the lore thiefs? Is the card draw that important for the deck?
