Bug Report: Playing Deathwish Ghoul with only two deserts?!

Yesterday I played a friendly match when on turn 2 I could play deathwish ghoul while I only had two deserts!
I have not tried to replicate the bug yet, but I feel like this could be a bit toxic if it could be. Or not.
