GB Enchant Deck revolving around Apex Predator and Possessed Ursus.
The deck contains the new Epic green card: Deepwood Stalker x2, but due to this card not being available on the Hub yet, I have put Baeru x2 as a placeholder.
It includes:
-Soft removal (Deepwood Stalkers)
-Hard removal (Frogify and Mirror Phantasm)
-Big creatures (Apex, Ursus)
-Buffs (Enchants, Embrace, Tiki)
-Mobility (Sagami, Syland, Apex).
-Ressources aka draws and faeria collection (Enchantment and Feed)
-Taunts (Willow).
Mulligan for: Living Willow, Deepwood Stalkers, Gabrian Enchantress, Tiki Pipper and Possessed Ursus.
It’s a relatively easy deck to play with a medium cost (No legendary, but about 10 Epics). Also the faeria cost of the deck is relatively medium/low (3.8 with the Deepwood Stalkers instead of Baeru).
Strategy:
-Make lands for the Apex (Need 3 lakes and 3 forests).
-Try to have a path for the Syland.
-Get a forest close to the enemy orb for the grovecallers.
-Focus on one side of the map, possibly some lands in the middle for the syland or 2 lands on the side for an additionnal faeria gatherer.
-Save the frogifies and Mirrors for enemy buffs/ taunts.
-Contest the ennemy gatherers with the Deepwood Stalker.
-Buff your ursus then drop the Apex.
You’re not too endangered by the removals because you have so many buffable creatures. Make sure you don’t put everything on one unless you can OHK with some tricks (Syland/Grovecaller).
Possible changements:
- Less Mirror/Frogify for more buffs
- Less Syland/Grovecaller for more strong creatures
- A mix of the two above for more consistensy (3x Enchantress instead of 2 for example)
