I can’t seem to find a way to chat with people on my friendslist. Am I missing something? There was a chat in the earlier version of the game and I really enjoyed talking with my opponent after the game.

There is currently no ingame chat implemented. Most of the players sit in the Discord server though, you can access it from your friendslist
