Innatural Protection function

Images can show it better:

So, Safeguard has a strange way to work.
This function for a new player like me it’s not intuitive.

I’m happy to have learn about it in a npc puzzle instead of in a fight.

What part of the function do you find unnatural?

Safeguard gives a creature protection. While protection is active the effected creature is immune to damage. When the creature takes damage for the first time since you applied safeguard to it, it will loose its protection effect. This is why cards like Last Nightmare (Destroy a creature) work on protected creatures since it doesn’t deal any damage.

If you have any further questions i’d be happy to help

Whenever an enemy creature dies, deal 1 damage to your opponent.

Too many puzzles and quests in a day. I have wrong.
Thanks for the answer, it has helped.
The next time I checked twice before saying something.
Have a nice day :yak:
