Deck for Metashaker #3

The main idea of this deck is to combine Blue´s great mobility with Red´s removal and use Firebringer and Hate Seed as mid- to lategame win conditions. As most of the used creatures have more attack than life, it´s quite easy to get 6+/6+ Firebringer and very cheap Hate Seeds pretty soon.

Elementals help you with land acceleration and are another way to secure an early Axe Grinder spot beside Prophet.
The deck is capable of pulling classic blue early game combos like Prophet+Aurora and put a lot of pressure on your opponent, if you find the right starting hand. It packs also a lot of removal with Ninja Toads, Bomb Slingers, Seifer´s Wraths and Flame Bursts, so there are a lot of ways to force favourable trades or at least clear the enemy creatures. Don´t hesitate to use Ninja Toad just for the removal as you gain additional value from it in this deck due to the buffs on your Firebringers and Hate Seeds.

Since Triton Trainer got nerfed, it counts for the buff on Firebringer and the discount on Hate Seed. Unfortunately the buff/discount seems to be calculated before the Triton Trainer buff on another jump creature gets applied. So playing a 6/4 Triton Warrior for example does trigger neither Firebringer nor Hate Seed. Ninja Toad and Triton Trainer himself remain as the only jumpers, which buff Firebringer and Hate Seed. This is the reason I included ony 6 Jump creatures and focused more on ways to secure early Axe Grinder spots.

Mulligan: keep Elementals, Prophet, Aurora for a strong early game. Axe Grinder and Triton Trainer can also be worth keeping, depending on what other cards you get.

Strengths: the deck has the potential to snowball a strong opening hand out of control and finish the game quickly. If you get a slow starting hand, there are still plenty options to stay in the game and wait for your buffed Firebringers and discounted Hate Seeds.

Weaknesses: Voice of Truth hard counters Firebringer and many of your creatures will be weak to popular removal (Flame Burst, Seifer´s Wrath, Soul Drain, Wind Soldier). Frogify and Last Nightmare can also make your Firebringer pretty much worthless.
