A deck that absolutely LOVES Iona. Main premise is to buff your Iona so hard that she wins the game because it can’t be attacked by opponent’s creatures.
There are two fliers in this deck: Iona, and Tethra.
How to play it: In your starting hand, it’s preferable to have an Iona’s Smile. In fact, get rid of Iona and Tethra if either or both are in your opening hand. Start building from the front of your orb to the left or right well. From here, build quickly to their orb with plains, as well as at least one creature able to collect from your well. Try to get a Forest and Desert close to their orb.
Wait for enough Faeria, play Iona and Tethra at the same time. Pray they don’t have Frogify or Last Nightmare. OR BOTH.
Pesky Taunt creatures? Hopefully Flash Wind, Wind Soldier, or Last Nightmare will do the trick.
