Malevolent Spirit is a card that has not seen much play. In many games, the fact this card deals 2 direct damage to the opponent’s orb has given me damage that couldn’t be done with ordinary creatures due to big defenses, such as Icerock Behemoth. Also, when racing your opponent, reducing their life, and gaining health yourself sometimes helps tip their numbers, giving you the high ground. This plays as standard yellow rush, just with multiple tools.
