Wild Avenger’s text:
Gain 1 Life for each time you’ve been dealt damage this game.
There’s a couple problems here.
- It sounds like your hero will gain life, but actually, it is Wild Avenger that gains life.
- It sounds like the life gain occurs only when Wild Avenger is played, but actually, damaging the owner of Wild Avenger will cause Wild Avenger to gain more life.
My understanding of Wild Avenger is that it begins with an extra life for each time you have been dealt damage, plus it gains another life each time you are dealt damage in the future. If that is correct, then better wording would be something like “Wild Avenger gains 1 life each time you are, or have been, dealt damage.”
