First: thanks to SuperbLizurd for helping me play, test and optimize the list.

Why would you want to play this deck?
This is one of the spiciest decks to play. You are constantly playing on edge, thinking about how much lower you can go before you are in lethal range, predicting gnat rng and making FAT STACKS OF MONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY with your idols.

Now about how to play this:

Mulligan phase:

We keep shaytan demon, lord of the waste, gnat/smile, llama in our hand and mulligan anything else away.

In the case you already have something to activate your idol (that isnt a soul pact) you can consider keeping idol in hand as well.

First few turns:

Start by making a double land towards opponent followed by 2 deserts and then a forest. This landplacement is crucial and can be really punishing throughout the game if done wrong. We want to be in trading range, since we play cards like shaytan demon and llama which want to combat as soon as possible. At the same time, we cannot allow to get value traded in the first few turns when we havent drawn into our gnat engine.

Doomgate is usually just a draw and faeria engine for us, as we can use it to gain faeria in combination with gnats and idols, as well as reset the gnat position to allow for better wrangler targets. In case we get to procc it we have to play it one above our face, the idol goes straight in front of our face.

Radiance is our “finisher” card. It is fairly easy to get her out, as every soul pact is effectively reducing her cost by 4 (plus 1 for every idol) as well as the gnats and demons naturally putting our hp very low.

Story teller helps us sustaining and drawing cards once we have found our gnat engine. The reason we dont want him in the starting hand is because we start with rush lands and instantly need to fight for board (which a 3 faeria 2/2 really doesnt do) and he also helps your opponent find answers to everything you play.

LLamacorn is the single best card in this deck. If you ever asked yourself what to buy if you are a billionaire, it’s the LLama. Great Statline, great combat effect. It draws cards. It heals. It’s got the swag. Drawing this early makes burn players cry and drawing it later on makes you survive the gnat value plays. and since i might forget it otherwise, it can be played on ANY LAND. this is super valueable for our deck, as we only play 2 neutrals, 2 deserts and a forest while also having up to 4 structures in the deck. The deserts are basically always occupied.

this concludes my talk about this ridiculously spicy list. Have fun striving for 0 cost Radiances.
