This deck makes use of unique traits of Oblivion Rider: 1 desert land requirement, charge 3 and ability to play it on turn 2 or turn 1 with Explore.

Thanks to charge 3 you can open with desert in the middle, spawn Rider there and move him up later. By the time you develop the second desert near your opponent your Rider will be ready to strike.

Rider is also perfect in the mirror rush scenario because he can step over enemy lands.

Moreover, opening with desert in the middle enables us to place Oradrim Sagittarius there who will make up for the high cost of Oblivion Rider. Thanks to this ranged unit and haste creatures we can buff Zealous Crusaders consistently.

Hard mulligan for Oblivion Rider. Keep Campfire if you got Rider to prebuff versus red and kill Living Willows and Wood Elementals vs green. Other mulligan choices are Monks and Followers with Prayers, Sagittarius is also fine if you got haste creatures or Rider.
