Can you please pre announce when you are going to update the servers? Its a bit annoying to be playing and then get booted randomly due to an impromptu server update.
Give the players like a 12-24 hr warning or something!
Server updates are usually told about via ingame popup. (Like: “The server will restart in 30 minutes due to a patch being applied.”)
Was there no such message this time?
If you join the discord channel https://discord.gg/faeria (there is also a link to it in your friendslist ingame) the community managers often write in the #announcement channel if there is gona be a scheduled downtime. And as Taiyodori said there is often times (if not all times?) a popup ingame that warns the players that an update is gona be applied.
