the point of this deck is versatility in many situations.
firstly gift of steel can be used on 9 combat creatures for a +3+3 and only cost 3 faeria
it can also boost battle rager in situations where you are close to their god and want to deal extra large damage.
kobold warlord is originally what this deck was built around adding gift of steel to KW will increase its survivability and if played solo near a god can every turn it survives increase its attack by 3.
the safeguard is meant solely as a backup for dire situations when you feel you will lose your main hitter.
hellfire is a crapshoot if you get it early on play it but they are very situational and using hellfire with to many creatures(or high life creature) makes it nearly worthless and not a good investment.
direct damage cards are used either for closing the gap against their god or getting rid of pesky creatures that are preventing your main hitter from reaching the god.
last if you rush to the front it can be the difference between winning and losing with this deck since low no taunt protection but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t prepare the battle ground near your god with very least 1 mountain so you can play something if you are getting hit.
