Tale of the old turtle is used to make 3 cost creatures into 1 or 0 cost cards so that they may buff illusion, ancient heralds are a secondary way to make mystic beasts and sturdy shells cost less, dark stalker is only at 2 since there’s very few events in the deck to help it turn it’s ability on, mirror phantasm turns your small creatures into threats that can eat or trade with an opponents creatures. Spring mochi is just another way to pseudo-decrease the overall cost of the deck while also being a 3 cost creature for tale to discount later on.
