  • Early Game: Each creature with a cost of four faeria or less is viable for collecting from your wells and the opponent’s within a few to a couple turns. This early collection allows for a superior lead in faeria, one that would apply significant pressure, especially if Spring Mochi gives a discounted Mirror Phantasm or Wavecrash Colossus. The mobility aspect allows for unexpected and early game-changing trades that result in an opponent starving for faeria. The water elementals allow for Dream Reavers played in the early game, which also applies significant pressure to the opponent.

  • Late Game: A tremendous amount of faeria and creatures on board from the early game establishes a board state extremely easy to handle. Gabrian Archons are most likely activated with their +2/+2 ability while inexpensive, large creatures are in hand from Spring Mochi. Dream Reavers can be dropped with a Prophet of Tides or a Water Elemental right beside them in order to finish off the opponent quickly. Shifting Tides gives an option of card draw for clutch card pickups or the option of mobility that allows for more unexpected trades and better board positioning. Two froggifies are in the deck incase of a race with the opponent and one of your big creatures is taunted and restricted from hitting face. They also allow for hard removal and good trades with the Spring Mochis and other collectors in the deck.

  • Rated “intermediate” since mobility and land placement may be difficult to some players. Otherwise, the deck is simple and extremely fun to play, and it can even be recommended for new players looking for more of a challenge.

  • Side Note: Failed Experiment can often be a dead card and may be replaced with Baeru and two other low costing cards such as Triton Banquet or Mythic Beast. Failed Experiment does have some clutch moments when faeria is an issue and land needs to be made with the Water Elemental or land needs moving with Prophet of Tides. It can also be used to transform an enemy creature with a cheap Mirror Phantasm.
