Anticipating nerfs to Three Wishes based on recent comments from the devs, I set the goal of shaking the (new Whale) meta without it. After this morning’s Wild Growth nerf, the deck keeps its fabulously Uno-inspired name, without one of the cards that gave it the name. Dear sweet Wild Growth Wildlands, we barely knew you. Your absurd (but very luck-dependant) openings will always be remembered.

There are tons of subtle synergies and interesting choices with this deck. You can usually find a way to kill your opponent, if you’re aware of what’s in your deck, your tutoring effects … and you don’t kill yourself first. Particularly worthy of careful thought are the interactions between Time of Legends and Ulani, who can be duplicated. Because of all of the draw in the deck, you’ll often end up making interesting decisions about if/when to play them and other cards… for example, you can sometimes tudor yourself a random legend, of a color of your choice, with Ulani! You’ll also probably have the faeria to use the cards Ulani gives, thanks to Blood Song and Soul Pact.

Wandering Monk is a star here. If you can get him in range, Ulani + the other draw and mana cards that it pulls can get you up to lethal surprisingly fast. The high amount of draw also allow for a few ‘problem solving’ cards to play a role in the deck. If you’re facing difficulties, changing up a couple of cards can substantially shift and expand your options. Or you can always throw in a Three Wishes…

If you like to play decks where your loss is usually your own damn fault (which I do!), give this one a shot.

Mandatory whales present, but fairly interesting in context. Note that Gabrian Enchantment can win you a whale-off…or it can quickly turn a Monk into one of the few cost-effective answers to an enemy whale.
