Oracle Text for all cards

Hi I am DarkShaders and since J0k3se approved my idea I thought I could do it myself, So here is (will be) a list of all the cards in Faeria with an accurate text and some extra precision about what a card actually do or cannot do in-game. You will find here alot of useful information about what each card can do in-game. Sometime the wording is not the clearest or we misjudge what it really means, this list is to clarify all card text and to give useful information to any player.

If you see any missing information please feel free to comment.

NEUTRAL

Cost 0:

Outcast Tower: Text: Faeria wells are empty. Production- Deal 1 damage to this structure.
Oracle:Gift : empty all Faeria Wells, they will stay empty until the end of each turn when Outcast tower is on the board. Production Deal 1 damage to this structure.
As a side note, destroying it doesn’t refill the wells, and if the Tower dies at the beginning of your turn (because of production), the wells will still remain empty until the end of the turn. thanks to Foxclear

Hunted Outlaw: Text: Last Words- Your opponent draws a card and gains 2 faeria

Caldera Explorer: Text: Gift- Gain +1/+1 if you control 2 lakes. Gain +2/+0 if you control 2 mountains.

Daring Adventurer: Text: Gift- Gain +2/+2 for each adjacent enemy creature.

Healing Song: Text: Draw a card and gain 4 life.

Magda, Queen of Meroval: Text: Your Legends cost 2 faeria less. Production- Add a random Legend to your hand.
Oracle: Cost reduction lasts as long as Magda is on the field, a random legend will be added to your hand at the beginning of each turn, before drawing, if you have less than 9 cards in hand. If after this, you have 9 cards in hand, your draw will be burned (card loss)

Oasis Explorer: Text: Gift- Gain +1/+1 if you control 2 lakes. Gain +1/+1 if you control 2 deserts.
Oracle: Gift- When Oasis Explorer enters the battlefield Gain +1/+1 if you control 2 lakes land. Gain +1/+1 if you control 2 deserts land.

Queen’s Favorite: Text: Protection.

Sharra, Dragonslayer: Text: Ignores all damage equal to 4 or more.
Oracle: Ignores all damage equal or more than 4, Will bypass deathtouch if 4 or more.(If given protection, getting hit by damage greater or equal to 4 will not remove protection).

Siege Engine: Text: Ranged. Whenever this creature attacks, it gains +1/+0 afterwards.
Oracle: Ranged. Whenever this creature attacks, it gains +1/+0 afterwards.

Walking Fortress: Text: None

Yak Attack: Text: Summon Three 2/2 Angry Yaks with Haste.

Day of the Dragons: Text: Add the four Dragons to your hand. They cost 4 faeria less.
Oracle: Add the four Dragons(Add them to your hand in this order : Orosei, Tethra, Garudan, Azarai. Any dragon that goes over the 9-card limit of your hand is lost) to your hand. They cost 4 faeria less.

Feed the Forest: Text: Destroy a friendly creature to gain faeria equal to its life and draw a card.

Bone Colletor: Text: Whenever an adjacent creature dies, gain +1/+1.
Oracle: Whenever an adjacent creature dies, gain +1/+1.(Works with both ally and enemy creature)

Earthcraft: Text: Draw a card and Choose one, Create a forest, Create a lake, Create a mountain, Create a desert.
Oracle: Draw a card and Choose one, Create a forest, Create a lake, Create a mountain, Create a desert.(Create a land of the color of your choice on any target tile where you could normally create a land by using your wheel power)

Faeria Tree: Text: Production- This structure gains +1 Life. When this has 5 or more Life, destroy it and gain 10 faeria.
Oracle: Production-At the beginning of your turn This structure gains +1 Life. When this has 5 or more Life, destroy it and gain 10 faeria.

Seedling: Text: Production- If this creature has less than 5 Life, gain +1/+1.

Wild Growth: Text: Create two forests at random.
Oracle: Create 2 forests on any random tiles where you could normally create a forest by using your wheel power.

Bloomsprite: Text: Last Words- Add a random green card to your hand. It cost 3 faeria less.
Oracle: Last Words- When Bloomsprite die Add a random green card to your hand. It cost 3 faeria less.
(The card may be bicolor as well , still considered green if there’s a forest in its land requirement)

Flowersilk Faerie: Text: Flying. The first time you draw an event, gain +1/+4 Taunt and Charge 2.
Oracle: Flying. The first time you draw an event, gain +1/+4 Taunt and Charge 2.

Gaea’s Grace: Text: You and a creature each gain +3 Life.
Oracle: You and a creature each gain +3 Life. (You orb Life cannot exceed 20, your creature’s life can exceed its maximum, though)

Overgrown Tower: Text: Activate- Give a creature +1/+1. Deal 1 damage to this structure.

Soulbound Sagami: Text: Last Words- A random friendly creature gain +3/+5

Oak Father: Text: Gift- Gain +0/+1 for each forest you control.
Oracle: Gift- When Oak Father enter the battlefield gain +0/+1 for each forest land you control.

Ruunin, the Relentless: Text: Last Words- Return Ruunin to your hand and reduce her cost by 2 faeria.
Oracle: Last Words-When Ruunin die return it to your hand and reduce her cost by 2 faeria.(Returns at its original stats, but its costs is 2 less than the cost that was shown when it died (all cost reductions applied once will be applied to Ruunin each time you replay it, multiple cost reductions stack with each other, until Ruunin costs 0)

Tethra, Soul of the Wind: Text: Flying, Charge 2, Gift- Give a creature +5/+5
Oracle: Flying, Charge 2, Gift-When Tethra enter the battlefield give a creature +5/+5(Can target itself)

Primeval Colossus: Text: Cost 1 faeria less for each special land you have(Minimum cost:6)
Oracle: Cost 1 faeria less for each special land you have(Minimum cost:6) (Minimum cost: 11 less than original cost, but other reductions will reduce it further, such as Spring Moochi or Bloomsprite)

Tarum, the Forest World: Text: Taunt, Last Words- Fill the world with forest.
Oracle: Taunt, Last Words-When Tarum die fill the world with forest land.(Replace all neutral lands by forests, and water tiles not occupied by an aquatic creature by forests belonging to you).

Oracle: Transform a creature into a creature that costs 2 faeria more than its current cost.(Can target both friendly and enemy creatures. If there is no creature that costs 2f more, then it will be a random creature of the same cost (can be the same creature)

Dark Stalker: Text: If you’ve played an even this turn, cost 2 faeria less.
Oracle: If you’ve played an even this turn, cost 2 faeria less.

Luduan: Text: Whenever this creature gathers faeria from an opponent’s well, add a random blue card to your hand. It cost 2 faeria less.
Oracle: Whenever this creature gathers faeria from an opponent’s well, add a random blue card to your hand. It cost 2 faeria less.(Creature’s gather faeria in order they have been summoned).

Mystic Beast: Text: Gift- Get +2 and jump if played adjacent to an enemy well.
Oracle: Gift- When Mystic Beast enter the battlefield get +2/ and jump if played adjacent to an enemy well.

Triton Diver: Text: Aquatic, Jump.

Aurora’s Disciple: Text: Whenever you play an event, gain +1/+1

Prophet of tides: Text: Gift- Move a you control land twice.
Oracle: Gift- When Prophet of tides enter the battlefield move a you control land twice.( Must move the same land twice, Creature standing on moved land will move with it).

Spring Mochi: Text: Gift- The next card with original cost 7+ Faeria you draw cost 3 faeria less.
Oracle: Gift- When Spring Mochi enter the battlefield the next card with original cost 7+ faeria you draw cost 3 faeria less.


Cost 4

Water Elemental: Text: Jump, Gift- Create a Lake.
Oracle: Jump, Gift-When Water Elemental enter the battle field create a lake on any target tile where you could normally create a land by using your wheel power

Aurora, Myth Maker: Text: Gift- Change a friendly creature’s base Attack and Life to 6/6.
Oracle: Gift- When Aurora when the battlefield Change a friendly creature’s base Attack and Life to 6/6.(Can’t target herself, removes all previous stats buffs or debuffs)

Azure Wisp: Text: Whenever you gather faeria from an opponent’s well, gain +1/+1
Oracle: Whenever you gather faeria from an opponent’s well, gain +1/+1. (Any creature can collect the faeria for this effect to trigger)

Battle Toads: Text: Summon two 2/2 Frogs with Jump.
Oracle: Summon two 2/2 Frogs with Jump. (Needs 2 free lakes to be played.)

Gabrian Archon: Text: Charge 2. Gain +2/+2 if you’ve played two cards with original cost 7+ faeria.
Oracle: Charge 2. Gain +2/+2 if you’ve played two cards with original cost 7+ faeria.(Works anywhere (while in deck, hand or on the field).

Garbian Cistern: Text: Production- Gain 3 faeria. Deal 1 damage to this structure.
Oracle: Production- At the beginning of your turn Production- Gain 3 faeria. Deal 1 damage to this structure.

Neutrals :

  • Fortune Hunter : can target himself
    Side note : If you have 2 creatures or more next to a faeria well, the one to collect will be the first to have entered the field
  • Magda : Cost reduction lasts as long as Magda is on the field, a random legend will be added to your hand at the beginning of each turn, before drawing, if you have less than 9 cards in hand. If after this, you have 9 cards in hand, your draw will be burned (card loss)
  • Wandering Monk : This includes draw on turn, drawing from the wheel, and any ability which draws from your deck, but not cards saying “Add” (like Spellwhirl)
  • Sharra Dragonslayer : If given protection, getting hit by damage greater or equal to 4 will not remove protection (no damage are dealt in this case)

A few more here :

  • Elderwood Hermit : +2/+4 instead (Can target a dead creature, in which case it won’t save it even if its health goes in positive)
  • Everbloom Wisp : Only while on the fields
  • Possessed Ursus : Its attack doubles

Forest :

  • Seed Sower : Create a forest on any random tile adjacent to this creature where you could normally create a land by using your wheel power
  • Ruunin : Returns at its original stats, but its costs is 2 less than the cost that was shown when it died (all cost reductions applied once will be applied to Ruunin each time you replay it, multiple cost reductions stack with each other, until Ruunin costs 0)
  • Tarum : Replace all neutral lands by forests, and water tiles not occupied by an aquatic creature by forests belonging to you

Water :

  • Spellwhirl : These cards are created from nowhere, this don’t count as a draw.
  • Unbound Evolution : Can target both friendly and enemy creatures. If there is no creature that costs 2f more, then it will be a random creature of the same cost (even the same)
  • Aurora’s Disciple : Only while on the field
  • Gabrian Commander : Only while on the field
  • Lore Thief : Can target itself ? wut ? can’t target anything :wink:
  • Water Elemental : Create a lake on any target tile where you could normally create a land by using your wheel power
  • Aurora : Can’t target herself, removes all previous stats buffs or debuffs
  • Battle Toads : Needs 2 free lakes to be played
  • Gabrian Archon : Works anywhere (while in deck, hand or on the field)
  • Aurora’s Trick : It gains summoning sickness (not sure of what happens if it has haste, though)
  • Frogify : Can target any creature (friend of foe). It looses all abilities, and can attack or move only if the creature wasn’t in summoning sickness (even if it had haste)
  • Aurora’s Creation : Can target any creature (friend of foe), it goes back to its original stats, except the cost that is reduced (other cost reductions will be erased as well).
  • Egg of Wonders : The summoned creature has summoning sickness, and doesn’t proc its gifts (again, not sure of what happens when it has haste)
  • Gabrian Noble : Fish can be summoned on any tile an aquatic creature can move on.
  • Wavecrafter : As long as it’s on the field.
  • Mirror Phantasm : Can target both friend or foe
  • Wavecrash Collossus : While this is in deck or hand
  • Baeru : Replaces all adjacent lands of any type by lakes (not water tiles). They still belong to the same players.
  • Orosei : Same rules as Unbound Evolution, but it’s only friendly creatures.

Mountain :

  • Bloodstone Sprite : Any creature can harvest.
  • Fire Elemental : Create a mountain on any target tile where you could normally create a land by using your wheel power.
  • Shedim Pest : Gets +2/+2 if you have another creatures which has currently more Attack than Life.
  • Bloodfire Wisp : While on the field.
  • Ignus : Target enemy.
  • Hate Seed : Higher Attack than Life.
  • Kobold Warrior : Can target itself, can target a dead creature (even itself).

Desert :

  • Oath to Oblivion : The creature suffers from summoning sickness.
  • Doomgate : Ostregoth is a 13/13 charge 5, Haste, flying creature that doesn’t exist in the game outside of this summoning.
  • Oradrim Sagittarius : Whenever any of your creatures attacks a god.
  • Oradrim Fanatic : Can target itself (must do it if there are no other targets).

Multi-colored :

  • Three Wishes : (Not Three Whishes :slight_smile: ). If one or more of the top 3 card of your opponent is a Three Wishes, it copies the next ones instead. If your opponent has less than 3 cards, it copies the remaining and you still gain 4 life. Other Threee Wishes played in the same turn copy the 3 same cards again.
  • Twinsoul Spirit : The second Twinsoul Spirit can also be summoned adjacent to a friendly creature, and has the original stats of a Twinsoul Spirit (doesn’t benefit from buffs given to the first).
  • Soul Eater : While in deck, hand, or on the field.

Nope: “Minimum cost: 11 less than original cost, but other reductions will reduce it further, such as Spring Moochi or Bloomsprite”

  • Explanation: If you get one via Bloomsprite, you can reduce the cost of the Colossus to 3.

Interactions regarding Sharra, the Dragonslayer / Ruunin’s Shrine / Protection (effect) / Combat effects:

Shrine on board / creature has protection -> Shrine takes damage, protection stays
Shrine / Sharra being attacked for 4+ damage -> Shrine takes damage, even if Sharra’d ignore it (probably a bug?)
Sharra / Protection -> Protection is NOT being popped with damage 4+
Shrine / Sharra / Protection -> Shrine takes damage, protection stays

Shrine / Combat -> Combat effects trigger as usual

Actually not a bug : Sharra works with Shrine in the same way as protection does : damage is redirected to Shrine before being dealt, so it’s not nullified by protection, nor Sharra’s effect. In the same way, deathtouch will be nullified as well against Shrine as no damage is dealt to the creature.
anyway, if interaction with Sharra is a bug, then interaction with protection is one as well :wink:

Being able to explain why something works as it does, doesn’t necessarily making it working as intended or - to the reader of the card - as expected. Hence, something striking as a bug (=not working as intended). :wink:

What I’d understand Sharra working like, when I read its text, is: “If it would be dealt 4+ damage, no damage is dealt (= ignored)”.
Hence, the way it works with protection/deathtouch is just as I’d expect it: Protection isn’t popped and death touch isn’t procced either, because no damage was dealt. The way it works with Shrine is very unexpected: Ignore the damage sounds - to me - that there should be no damage that could be dealt to the Shrine.

Regarding Protection / Shrine, I couldn’t tell at all without hindsight. Just by reading the text, it could mean protection is popped, Shrine receives no damage or - like it actually is - Shrine receives full damage, Protection is not being popped.

I believe it’s the same with protection, then. I mean, if damage is dealt to Sharra/protected creature no matter what, then it’s redirected to Shrine before it’s effective on Sharra/protected creature. Otherwise, it’s Sharra/protection that works before Shrine, and Shrine effect is ignored. I believe it’s the correct behavior for what’s written on the cards as I understand it, but it surely can be confusing. However, I don’t see why you think interaction with Sharra is a bug and not protection as well. that’s the same thing in both cases : whether or not damage should be redirected before being dealt.

Well, by reading the text I’d always assume that Sharra checks before Shrine: Sharra “ignores” damage and the Shrine redirects damage “whenever damage would be dealt to you or a creature you control, it’s dealt to this structure instead”. Sharra ignoring 4+ damage leads me to the expectation that there would be no damage dealt, hence nothing to be redirected.

Protection, on the other hand, reads: “The next time this creature would take damage, it ignores it and loses protection instead.”
If “this” creature is Sharra, then no damage would be dealt, if it’s 4+. Same goes for the wording of Shrine. Hence, I consider it a bug.
If “this” creature is anything else, then I’d say Shrine’s text (“you or any creature you control”) is more open/global than that of protection, therefore redirecting it, leaving no damage that would now be dealt to “this” (specific) creature.
I admit, though, the latter might as well go vice versa. Hence, maybe a bug, maybe working as intended. Couldn’t tell. It could depend on what was in the board first, the protection or the shrine. :slight_smile:

After all, I’d think it safe to assume that Sharra, Shrine and Protection should be checked in this order:

  1. Sharra - 4+ damage? -> Ignore, don’t check further.
    2./3. Shrine - Any damage left? -> If yes, redirect it to the shrine.
    3./2. Protection - Would this creature still take damage? -> If yes, pop the protection first.
